Platform shoes & tote bag on, film camera & chapsticks at the ready, you've just spotted Los Angeles based artist Danielle Del Rosario. Born in the Philippines and raised in East Hollywood, she is fueled by her passions for art education, photographic storytelling, and community activism. Inspired by her childhood recollection of seeing her mother carry around a Canon PowerShot and her father recording family memories on their Sony camcorder, Danielle's work often focuses on documentation and re-imagining. Through mixed-media methods and photo making, Danielle is constantly examining the nuances of identity and what it means to be a Filipina American. Currently, she is primarily involved in arts education for the youth and greatly believes in restorative justice as a way to heal and uplift present and future generations.
